Summary
The Processing Engineering Technician I supports TSMD’s laboratories and technical teams with sample preparation, test preparation and execution, data analysis, and project support.
Process Engineering supports TSMD’s manufacturing and R&D operations with process-specific expertise. The Process Engineering technicians provide general support to the Process Engineering team with activities such as: MRB investigations, equipment qualifications, continuous improvement projects, SPC trend investigations, scrap task team and trouble-shooting investigations, and documentation improvements such as procedure, work instruction, or training updates.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares samples.

Sets up equipment, assemblies, and experiments.

Collects data per work instructions or experimental plans.

Prepares reports with data and analysis.

Supports senior level technicians and engineers with project execution.

Maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Other related duties.
Education
-
High school diploma required, Associates degree in technical field preferred.
Skills and Qualifications

Works under general supervision.

Conducts assigned tasks in a safe manner.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Able to keep detailed notes and well-organized data.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis.

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
