Summary
The PM Journey Welder powder coats Tosoh products and protects the quality of the products with testing and necessary repairs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare the surface of Tosoh products for powder coating.

Inspect work both pre and post powder to ensure product meets or exceeds quality expectations.

Successfully powder coat products.

Protect quality by testing finishes & working with supervisor to address concerns.

Determine if a defective product should be rejected or if corrective action should be taken.

Touch-up and/or repair finished parts as necessary.

Maintain all necessary equipment and tools.

Ensure work area is clean, secure and well maintained.

Follow all safety standards.

Other duties as may be assigned.
Education
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Skills and Qualifications
-
Basic math and computer skills
-
Strong knowledge on powder coating different materials/surfaces, etc.

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
-
Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings.
-
Ability to work effectively with different personnel throughout the workday.
-
Strong machining skills or training would be a plus.
-
Commitment to dependability, quality, and safety.
-
D-11 certification preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
-
Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a regular and routine basis.

Frequent bending/twisting required.
-
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
